Excedrin, How I Love Thee

There is nothing like it for headaches. Also, no substitution will do — I tried a Walgreen’s brand (cos usually they’re all the same stuff anyway) which will do for mild headaches, but for a really bad one? It’s gotta be Excedrin. I took two Walgreen’s Extra Strength Headache Relief stuff last night, but it did no good. I ended up taking 2 Excedrin on top of them:p (Dude, I should totally be an Excedrin spokesperson!)

I think Elizabeth Barrett Browning said it best:

Sonnet LXIII

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, -I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! – and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Except maybe the last line. After I’m dead, I doubt I’ll give a shit about Excedrin.
…Did I just mess up my chances of being an Excedrin spokesperson???

  1. As the Donald would put it… :p hehe. I’m glad you like Excedrin. I think the only time I took it was the one time I got hungover and it did work.
