Primary Election
Today! For California, at least.
Voter turnout doesn’t look v. good though. There wasn’t a line or anything! Well maybe people are doing absentee. But if you do absentee, then you don’t get an “I Voted” sticker! :p Just kidding. Well I mean, I do like stickers, but that’s not the reason. We’re thinking about doing permanent absentee so it’s easier and faster. I don’t know why but the polling place changes periodically. If we hadn’t decided to double check last minute, we woulda gone to the wrong place! Sheesh. This year, the election reverted to paper ballots cos the electronic ones weren’t approved cos the machines don’t do a paper trail. So we got paper ballots and official black marker pens and it was v. old school. :p
