Banned Books Week
We’re at the tail end of Banned Books Week. (Well it’s really more like Banned and Challenged Books Week evidently, cos they include books that have a challenge, but haven’t been banned yet.) Honestly though, if you look at the list of banned books, it’s kind of crazy. I mean, really, Harry Potter? Where’s Waldo?! The Lorax?! (THE LORAX?!?!) Not that I think censorship is at all ok, but it just goes to show the utter ludicrousity of it. The Notable Quotes were insightful and said what I want to say better and without making up words.
