I read The Alienist by Caleb Carr and the follow-up novel to that, Angel of Darkness. Both were psychological thrillers, and quite enjoyable. I'm currently reading The Flanders Panel by Arturo Perez-Reverte but it's too early to tell with that one. So far so good though :)
Movies... saw several Chris Rock specials... they're all funny, although I notice certain themes that have developed where perhaps they would have been funnier more spaced out. Lots of Miyazaki movies, which are always enjoyable.

Yeah, it's one of few movies I couldn't finish all the way through. And that's saying a lot since I managed to sit through The Aviator (fast fwded). I haven't read a book since March. Que terible.

War of the Worlds is one of the stupidest movies ever.
I dislike it with great intensity.
