Yut showed me this yesterday. (Or was it the day before? Spending close to 24 hours in airports or otherwise traveling confuses my already poor sense of time.)
It’s Neil Gaiman’s library in his basement. OMG, are you not jealous?! Look at those tilted shelves for easier viewing! There are even more drool-worthy photos, so be sure to click through and look. (Also, read Graveyard Book which won this year’s Newbery and Hugo awards.)
Actually this reminds me of the shelves at Borderlands Books in San Francisco, where the entire bottom half is tilted. Only perhaps that would take up too much space. Also, with this many books, I’d need a barcode scanner, don’t you think?
